DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

Payments can be made via bank transfer with details given on your invoice.

CANCELLATION

Reservations may be cancelled free of charge until 14 days before arrival. Reservations made with non-refundable status to not apply.

Guests will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel within 14 days before arrival.

In the event of no-show, guests will be charged the total price of the reservation. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

By proceeding with a reservation at a South West Stays property you accept and agree that the reservation, if accepted by us, shall be on the terms and conditions as follows:

RATES AND DEPOSIT

  • Rates are subject to change as a result of changes in your arrival and/or departure dates.

  • Rates quoted are in English Pounds.

  • In the event you complete a booking based on a rate that has been incorrectly posted, South West Stays reserves the right to correct the rate or cancel the reservation at its discretion, and will contact you directly in order to do so.

ELIGIBLE AGE FOR CHECK-IN

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to check-in and register for a room.

CHECK-IN AND CHECKOUT TIME

  • Check-in time is from 16:00pm. Checkout time is by 10:00am on day of departure. 

PROPERTY RULES

  • Only two persons may occupy the Artist’s View, and only four persons may occupy Penlee, unless prior agreement from South West Stays.

  •  No pets are permitted within the properties.

  •  Due respect and consideration to neighbours must be observed at all times.

  • No smoking is permitted inside the properties.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

  • By proceeding with the reservation, you further agree and acknowledge that if the reservation is accepted by South West Stays, your stay subsequently shall be subject to South West Stays’ standard terms and conditions of stay.

  • South West Stays may, at its absolute discretion, cancel the reservation if it is of the opinion that the reservation information provided is falsified or incomplete.

  • South West Stays shall be entitled to vary, amend and/or otherwise change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

  • You shall indemnify and hold South West Stays harmless in respect of any liability, loss, damage, cost and expense of any nature arising out of, and/or in connection with the acceptance of the reservation by South West Stays.

  • South West Stays shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses incurred by you as a result of any cancellation of the reservation by South West Stays.

FOLLOWING YOUR DEPARTURE

The guest must keep the property clean and in good order and will be responsible for any damages or breakages during their stay. During the period of occupation the guest is responsible for the care of the property and its contents. It is expected that guests treat the property with the respect that they treat their own and leave the property and its fixtures and fittings in a clean and tidy condition, including correct disposal of rubbish/waste for recycling.

Following your safe departure, we are allowed up to 1 week to assess the property in order to ascertain whether any damage has been caused. A breakages and damage fee will be incurred if damage is caused to the property and it’s contents during your stay, accompanied by photographic evidence to explain our reasoning. 

FORCE MAJEURE

We cannot accept liability or responsibility for any alterations, delay or cancellation or any other loss or damage caused by war, civil strife, terrorist action, industrial disputes, fire, sickness, bad weather, livestock, epidemics, acts of any government, or public authority, changes imposed by re-scheduling of airlines, ferries or any event outside our control.

Property descriptions and all details written (and verbal) on our website are given in good faith and are believed to be correct, but their accuracy cannot be guaranteed. We reserve the right to amend our property details and prices quoted on the internet due to error or omission. In this unlikely event the potential guest will be notified immediately and may cancel their provisional booking accordingly.

The owners of South West Stays properties cannot be held responsible for any 3rd party breakdowns, malfunctions or cuts of utility services such as electricity, gas, water supplies, sewage disposal although every attempt will be made to remedy a problem where possible should it occur. In the case of television and telecommunications (mobile reception, wifi/broadband, telephone etc.) the owners cannot be held responsible for the services to the properties. While we expect these services to be operating as normal for all guests’ enjoyment these can be subject to interruptions especially in rural areas. Every line of enquiry will be made with the provider in an effort to resume service but no refund or relocation will be considered for interruptions to telecommunications or television.
